“Serving the communities in which we operate is at the forefront of our business,” said Dorian Cunion, zone vice president of 7‑Eleven, Inc. “We constantly strive to be a great neighbor and are proud to be a part of National Night Out.”

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign, created by the National Association of Town Watch, to promote police-community relationships and neighborhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods safer.

In addition to the National Night Out sponsorship, 7‑Eleven Inc. has joined forces with local law enforcement through Operation Chill, a program designed to reduce crime and enhance relations between police and youth. The program allows law enforcement officers to “ticket” youth they observe doing good deeds or exhibiting positive behavior. Since its inception in 1995, 21 million coupons have been distributed to officers through Operation Chill.
